"the sweet never was so sweet without the sour" -- Vanilla Sky

In times of hardship, Hillary Clinton on Oprah spoke of upholding the "discipline of grace". It is the mentality in which when the present seems bleak and negative, there is still the notion that one must remember there are always things one can be grateful for. Even those times when all we can muster is simply i'm breathing, i'm walking, it still puts life into perspective. I, in my time of utter despondency, refuse to falter.

My discipline is outlined by:
God
My family
My roommates aka my "angels on Earth": Shanta, Ashleigh, and Tiffany
Michele, Daphne, Carl: My "for Life" best friends
Huong: without you, what would my Life at UCF be? Thank you for crying with me.
Jayne
UCF Victims Services and Women's Health
Rodel
Ani DiFranco and Christina Aguilera on repeat (yes people, Christina!)

Ive learned that trust is extremely fragile, but once you find it, it's invaluable. I cannot express enough gratitude to all of you, amongst others, who have helped me at my weakest. You have all enriched my life in your care. Simply, all i can say is thank you.
